Dong Hua University

Located in the New District of Songjiang, Songjiang Campus of Donghua University is situated at the northeast part of the College Park of Songjiang with Sheshan National Tourist Resort on the north, and the town of Songjiang, on the south. College Park of Songjiang is 30 kilometers from downtown Shanghai and boasts very convenient traffic service with Hu-Hang Expressway, Hu-Qing-Ping Expressway, National Highway No. 318 and others.

Songjiang Campus occupies an area of about 1500 m2. Classroom buildings occupy an area of about 50,000 m2 with 152 big and small classrooms capable of accommodating 10,000 students for lectures. Multipurpose Experiment Building occupies an area of 13,000 m2 with 9 language labs of the College of Foreign Languages, Electronic Circuit Laboratory of the College of Information and Physics Laboratory of the College of Science.

Donghua University consists of 18 colleges and Larsarrl International Fashion Design College. The disciplines cover a complete range of majors including engineering, economics, management, literature, law, science and pedagogy. Dong Hua University has three postdoctoral programs and has been authorized to offer 24 doctoral programs, 48 master programs and 39 bachelor programs. The university has 4 national key disciplines,3 Shanghai municipal key disciplines along with a national key lab, a national engineering research center, a ministerial engineering research center, a ministerial key lab. Currently, the total enrollment of the University amounts to 20000. The 3300 faculty members include 1300 teachers among whom 6 are Members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
